A Christmas Story: The Musical is the stage version of the 1983 American classic film, A Christmas Story. The musical has music and lyrics written by the award-winning duo, Pasek & Paul, and book by Joseph Robinette.

The film was released on November 18, 1983 and in 2012, it was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." The story came to life on Broadway in the winter of 2012, stealing the hearts of a new generation of audiences.
