Finding Neverland's Music Will Make You Believe In Magic

December 5, 2017

Based on the Academy Award®-winning film of the same name, this breathtaking show follows playwright J.M. Barrie as he summons the courage to become the writer – and the man – he yearns to be. Barrie finds the inspiration he’s been missing when he meets the beautiful widow Sylvia and her four young sons: Jack, George, Michael and Peter.

Delighted by the boys’ hilarious escapades, Barrie conjures the magical world of Neverland and writes a play unlike any theatergoers have ever seen. It’s a tremendous risk, but as Barrie himself has discovered—

When you believe, you can fly.

Tony® winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Hair) directs this innovative musical featuring an original score by noted composer Gary Barlow and Grammy® winner Eliot Kennedy, with a book by celebrated playwright James Graham and choreography by three-time Emmy® winner Mia Michaels (“So You Think You Can Dance,” Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium). Packed with mesmerizing visuals, irresistible songs and plenty of laughs, FINDING NEVERLAND is a timeless story about the power of imagination… and spectacular proof that you never really have to grow up.

Finding Neverland: The Album

Finding Neverland: The Album is just as star studded as the night sky with Ellie Goulding, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Trey Songz and Zendaya featured along with contributions from John Legend, Rita, Ora, Nick Jonas and the musical’s star, Matthew Morrison.

Finding Neverland: The Album is a fusion of pop and Broadway akin to Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida (1999), which spawned John’s hit duet “Written In The Stars” with LeAnn Rimes (#29 peak on Billboard's Hot 100). All of the songs feature music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy. The release also features fresh recordings from the musical, including songs by Janet Jackson, Spice Girls, Boyz II Men, Sting and James Taylor.

The Album offers a chance to see some of the biggest names of music stepping outside of their normal lane and what we’re used to hearing from them. In essence, fans of these artists will discover the story and the play in a way they wouldn't have otherwise, and on the flip-side, fans of the play will discover some of these artists in a way they might not have in their daily lives.
